#TBT ROB-HARRIS STYLE

In the photo above, founders Lew and Rob stand in front of Independence Hall. This shot was used as a satirical approach to answer the question: “how long have you been in business?” The caption read: Since 1787. Our business actually opened its doors in 1987. Believe it or not, if you look at our work from thirty years ago – you will see LOTS of differences. This can be attributed to developed technology including: cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and post-editing software. Not to mention, our team has aged like fine wine. One thing that hasn’t changed, regardless of the time, is our focus on QUALITY.

When Lew and Rob joined forces to create Rob-Harris, they shared the same philosophy – quality over quantity. Over the past 30 years, we have crafted our style and continued to improve through the test of time. We still pride ourselves on our attention to detail, ability to deliver the highest quality images and videos, and our lighthearted team to make it fun throughout the process.

In this oversaturated industry of photography and videography, it’s hard for business owners and marketing professionals to sort through the noise. We’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves after 3 decades in the industry. Here are some quick tips for finding the photographer that’s right for your organization’s needs:

  1. To start, have a general understanding of what you need and your vision for your final product. It doesn’t have to be perfect, the right photographer will work through this with you. An understanding of your target ahead of time makes it easier for you and us too!
  2. Before reaching out to a photographer, take the time up front to review their portfolios and current work. See if you like the way it feels.
  3. Schedule time to talk to 3 photographers so you’re able to compare amongst them. Ask thoughtful questions about their process, average turnaround time, budget, and more. Most importantly, see if you like them.
  4. After deciding which photographer is your favorite, schedule time to go see their studio in person so you’re sure it fits your needs. From there, the rest is history!

We’d love to talk further about your organizational needs currently or in the future.
